DKP Rules (submitted by doomrograx at 08:22pm GMT)

We use a modified dkp system. Below you'll find the details on how to accumulate points, the rules that will be used to spend them, and the ways to potentially lose dkp for being a goon.

EARNING DKP

* On Time 2dkp

* Boss Kill 2dkp

* First Time Boss Kill 4dkp

* 1 Hour New Content 4dkp

* Wait List DKP by event as listed above.

On Time - You are in the raid or on the wait list by 6:00 PM CST/Server. Invites usually start at 5:30 PM CST/Server so you have plenty of time to do one or the other.

Boss Kill - You are present for a boss kill. Meaning you are in the raid or on the wait list on the kill shot.

First Time Boss Kill - You are present for a new boss kill. Meaning you are in the raid or on the wait list on the kill shot. Surprise! New content is weighted. Certainly to your advantage to show up and spill some blood with us.

1 Hour New Content - You are present for 1 hour of new content. Meaning you are in the raid or on the wait list for the full hour of new content.

Wait List - If you have been asked to sit for the evening due to a raid being full or class balance you can be put on the officer tracked wait list. Being on the wait list means you will park your character no further away then the closest Inn to which you can bind your hearth stone. You will need to be ready to move at moments notice. While on a wait list you earn full dkp and associated bonuses. You may play an alt but must remain available on vent so that we can easily reach you. When put on the wait list you should also make clear to the officer tracking it for the night which char you will be on to help us contact you faster. Logging out without removing yourself from the wait list or failure to move out immediately when called upon waives dkp earned for duration of waiting period.

SPENDING DKP

* Bidding / Non Set AND Set Pieces

* Min Bids and Negative Balance

* Alternate Gear Sets

* Armor Types

Bidding / Non Set AND Set Pieces - When there is loot to be distributed an officer will open up bidding for the items one at a time and members will bid in raid chat. Bidding will continue until one person is uncontested. The highest bidder wins and is deducted their bid amount. Bids can't exceed a player's current listed dkp pool unless making a minimum bid.

Min Bids and Negative Balance - Min bidding is allowed on uncontested items and set items (10 dkp nonset / 15 dkp set) even if you are currently at a negative balance.

Alternate Gear Sets - You are recruited and utilized for a specific role. Bidding on gear that does not suit your primary role will be not be allowed unless uncontested.

Armor Types - You are expected to adhere to your primary armor type when bidding on loot unless uncontested.

LOSING DKP

* Unprepared Penalty

* Inactivity

Unprepared Penalty - Consumables are mandatory. Especially on new content. If you do not have time to farm consumables you do not have time to raid. Anyone found not to be using full consumables when called for will be stripped of dkp for the evening or for the previous raid whichever is greater. Below is a list of what we expect from you regarding consumables. Health and Mana potions (where applicable) are a given. I suggest a potion injector of according type/s made by an engineer. The materials are well worth the saved space in most all cases. Below is what we expect to see on your buff list when we call for a wet run.

Flask or Guardian and Battle Elixir - If a guardian elixir is not that great for you then flask and be done with it.
Food Buff - Your food must be relevant to your class and of proper lvl. Stam food does not count unless you will be tanking.
Weapon Buff - Your weapon buff must be relevant to your class and of proper lvl. Casters must have this any time a wet attempt is called. Melee should have something ready in case they do not have a party weapon buff from a shaman.

Inactivity - We feel a 45 day window is enough time to determine whether or not you are a contributing member our raid core. In most all cases of inactivity the council members are approached and informed about a player's time period of inactivity prior to it happening (we understand rl can come at you quickly) and this can be considered as a factor depending on circumstances. We reserve the right to debit 100% of your dkp for absences upto and exceeding 45 days.

Remember prevention is the key to any problem. If you have questions / comments / concerns about our policies please post in the "Feedback and Suggestions" thread.

Disclaimer -We as officers reserve the right to deny a bid we feel is illogical and/or unreasonable and all DKP rules are subject to change with advance notice
